Hi everyone, I know it's hard to think about making Christmas cards when it's almost 100 degrees outside, but I have been doing them off and on since January, along with other Christmas projects for gifts and such. I decided to use one of the cards that I just made for the current challenge at CCT, which is to create a card using either heat or dry embossing.
The card I made features the Holiday Bunnies stamp set by Memory Box. For the embossing, I used the Cuttlebug swiss dots embossing folder, and for the snowbank, I used a snowflake embossing folder from Darice. I colored the images with Copic markers, and added stickles to the lights and snowbank for a little shine.
Thanks for taking a look, and please leave me a comment, I love to hear what everyone thinks.

Oooops...one more! MFT Camp Create: Awesome Ombre
I forgot, I have one more. I was waiting for the Glossy Accents to dry, so I could add my sentiment, and forgot to post it...lol!
This challenge is to use the ombre technique.
For this card, I decided to make an underwater scene using the ombre techneque for the water, starting off dark at the bottom, and getting lighter at the top, as if the sun where shining from above. I heat embossed bubbles from the Hero Arts Sea Life stamp set, and then added Glossy accents to the middle of each bubble. For the fish, I used one of the fish stamps from the same set, stamped them in purple and pink, cut them out, and attached them to the card with dimensional tape. I didn't have a stamp with the words I wanted to use, so I typed them out and cut them out with one of the label dies from the MFT Tag Builder Blueprint 6 die set, and inked the edges with the same ink I used for the ombre background. I didn't know what I wanted to put on the inside, because I'm not sure what I'm going to use it for, so I left it as is, and will add to the sentiment inside when I use it.

MFT Camp Create: Delightful Die Cutting
For the last activity for this camp session is to create something with die cuts.
My grandson needed a birthday card for one of his friends, so I made this birthday card that was more on the masculine side. I cut the largest star from one of the stars from the Spellbinder's star die set, and the smaller ones from a confetti die set that I have. The circle was made from the MFT Inside/Out circle die set. Happy Birthday was from stamps I had in my stash.
I really loved participating in this summer's camp create challenges, and I really hope they have it next year!
MFT Camp Create: Monochromatic Magic
Today's Camp Create challenge is to create something using monochromatic colors.
Here is my creation for this challenge. The striped background was made using the Just Rite Ticking Stripe background stamp. The snowflakes are from the Simon Says Stamp Marisa snowflake die. The stitched white rectangle is from the MFT Inside/Out rectangles, which I added some red inking to the edges to add to the monochromatic effect. The ribbon was some ribbon I had in my stash that I thought would go nicely.
Now on to the next day!

MFT Camp Create: Background Bonanza
Hi everyone, here we are with day three's challenge at the MFT's Camp Create, which is, Background Bonanza.
For my background, I used a stencil that I received from a stencil and stamp set form Recollections. I used blue and purple ink to ink the stencil. For my image, I used stamps from the MFT's stamp set, Beary Special Birthday.

MFT Camp Create: Magnificent Masking
Here we are with day to of this week's Camp Create.
Today's challenge is to make a project using the masking technique.
Today's challenge is to make a project using the masking technique.
I have been trying to get a jump on my Christmas card stash, so I decided to make this one to add to it. I used a curved stencil that I made from a curved die to use a mask to make the snow drifts, then added little trees that I embossed with white glittery embossing powder. I made a card like this before, and I really loved the effect.
My Favorite Things Camp Create: Inlaid Made Easy
Hi everyone, here we are once again for a fun time at MFT Camp Create.
Today's challenge is to make a project using the inlaid techneque. The card I made is a birthday card made from the MFT Stitched Banner Alphabet, and heart balloon dies.
This card was a lot of fun to make. I always loved the effect of inlaid dies.
Now off to my card for the next day.
