To make my card, I started off with a 5.5" x 4.25" white card base, then added a piece of green paper, cut to 5" x 4" and added that to my card base.
For my Easter Egg cut out, I used my Cricut and my Sure Cuts A Lot program, to cut out a rectangle out of a piece of yellow checkered patterned paper that I had on hand, and also set it to cut out the egg shape with a file that I had in my collection.
For the ribbon, I needed to know where the egg cutout would be when I adhered it to my card, so I placed it on top, and added little marks to the green paper that would be underneath, so I would know where I needed to put my ribbon so it would give it full coverage. I then cut pieces of various ribbon from " Really Reasonable Ribbon" and adhered them to the green paper diagonally across the area where the egg cut out would be. I placed dimensional tape around the back side of the cut out paper, then placed it on top of the green paper, so the ribbon would show through the cut out.
For my tag, I used one of the tags from the Spellbinders Fancy Framed Tags Two. I cut the bottom layer out of a medium peach color card stock, and cut the top layer in light peach card stock, inked the edges of both pieces with a touch of red ink, then stamped the words, Happy Easter on the top piece and attached it to the bottom piece of the tag. I then added this piece to my card using dimensional tape.
To finish off my card, I ran a piece of one of the same ribbons I used for the egg, across the bottom of the card, then for a little bling, I added gold Jewel Dazzles to the ribbon and to the sides of my sentiment piece.
I hope you enjoyed checking out my card as much as I did making it.
