CADB Card, The Best Teacher Ever

It's my turn once again to put in an entry to the Card A Day Blog, and this weeks theme is " Teacher Appreciation ". Here is my card, The Best Teacher Ever.

Making this card was pretty simple, and here is what I used to make it.
  • Die Cuts With a View, The Grade School Stack.
  • Red, white and green card stock.
  • Printer
I started off with a 5.5 x 4.25 white card for the base, then added a piece of 4 1/8 ' by 5 3/8 piece of the diamond patterned paper from the DCWV stack, then placed a strip of  5 3/8' by 2' piece of red card stock at the bottom of the card. My apples came from the apple patterned paper in that same stack. I cut out three different apples, and placed them across the red card stock, and then mixed up the stems, so each apple would have a different patterned stem. For my sentement, I typed out " The Best Teacher Ever! " on a piece of white card stock, and cut it down to  4 3/4" by 3/4'. I then placed that on a piece of 4 7/8 x 1' green card stock, and adhered it in the middle of the diamond patterned paper.

I hope you like my simple and quick card, and if you would like to leave me a comment and let me know what you think about it, I would surely appreciate it. Don't forget to enter our monthly challenge. We are offering a prize to the lucky winner.
